A S Brown

I (Tony) began my career working for Kitchens Ltd in Harpenden for approximately five years and chose to branch out on my own with the support of my wife Denise and we became established as A S Brown in 1999. We had one trainee (Rob) who is still with us today and is now a skilled Kitchen and Bathroom Installer.  To begin with, we sub-contracted to MFI, where we then began to earn a very good reputation and were often asked for by name. After approximately the first year we began to see customers and their friends and family return to us directly for other forms of installations. In 2007 we expanded and took on three additional employees (all family - Dave who is Rob's brother, Ian who is Denise's brother and Billy our Son) and became the two teams we remain.

 

As a conscientious company we are very considerate of your home, we are understanding of the worries and concerns customers have about having "strangers" working in their home and are extremely sympathetic to this. 

 

All employees have been CRB checked and cleared.  You also have the knowledge that being a Family run business, we all share the same beliefs and ethos.  

 

We endeavour to always create as little disruption and mess as possible whilst working in your home.  All of our experienced and qualified tradesmen ensure protective coverings are used in all areas accessible and will always use a vacuum cleaner to clean up afterwards.
